While swimming through dirt I paused to look up. Quickly I was punished and the delicate facial features connected with the texture of a rock. Torrential tears liquified the earth around, the rock started to sink. I kicked it hard when it reached my foot. More pain mixed with primordial satisfaction. I will use it as a stronghold and climb higher. It’s not air I seek. Air is given.
I will build a house. I will plant a garden. Pieces of broken glass follow like seven years of bad luck.
I glimpsed cloudy skies and now all there’s left to do is dream of blue.
